OurwaPlateforme terms of use
Version of 18 October 2026
These terms govern the use of the OurwaPlateforme app. By signing in, you accept them, together with the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the app: your school remains reachable through its usual channels.
1. The publisher
- Publisher: Sidibrahim Mohammed, an individual
- Address: Nouakchott, Mauritania
- Email: 25038@supnum.mr
2. Who may use the app
The app is reserved for parents and guardians whom a participating school has registered as responsible for a pupil. Users must be adults.
You cannot create an account yourself: the school creates it. A pupil has no account.
3. Your account
- Your identifier is your phone number. The password the school gives you must be changed the first time you sign in; the app allows nothing else until you do.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is deemed to have been done by you.
- If you think someone else has used your account, change the password from the Profil screen — this closes all your other sessions — and inform the school.
- If several schools have given you a password, each one opens the children enrolled at the school that gave it.
4. What the app displays
The app displays what the school has recorded: grades, absences, homework, messages, documents, payments. It does not replace the official report card, the receipt issued by the school's cash desk, or a decision of the school.
Each school is responsible for what it publishes and for the accounts it creates. If the app and the school's records differ, the school's records prevail: report the difference to the school.
A teacher may correct a grade or an absence after recording it; the app then shows the corrected value.
The app takes no payments and sells nothing.
5. What is not allowed
- Using another person's account, or lending yours.
- Trying to see the data of a pupil you are not responsible for, or data of another school.
- Disrupting the service: sending automated requests, getting around limits, testing security without the publisher's written agreement.
- Sharing documents and attachments provided by the school outside the school context.
- Using the app for any unlawful purpose.
6. Availability
The app depends on your phone, your connection and the school's server. It may be interrupted for maintenance or for external reasons. The publisher makes reasonable efforts to restore it, without guaranteeing that it is always available.
Notifications also depend on Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging). A notification that does not arrive does not mean that nothing happened: the information can still be seen in the app.
7. Suspension and termination
- The school may close your account, for example when you are no longer responsible for one of its pupils.
- The publisher may suspend an account that breaches section 5.
- When a school stops using OurwaPlateforme, it is removed from the directory; its data can no longer be reached through the app.
- You may delete your account at any time: Profil → Supprimer mon compte. See Delete your account.
8. Ownership
The app, its code, its name and its signs belong to the publisher. The publisher grants you a personal, free, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use it under these terms. Your children's data remains their school's, under the conditions of the privacy policy.
9. Liability
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by Mauritanian law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damage, such as a decision taken on the basis of an incorrect display or a notification that was not received. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
10. Terms specific to Apple's App Store
These apply when the app is obtained from the App Store.
- These terms are concluded between you and the publisher, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- The licence allows you to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
- Maintenance and support are provided by the publisher, not by Apple.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- The publisher, not Apple, handles any claim relating to the app: product liability, failure to comply with the law, consumer protection.
- If a third party claims that the app infringes its intellectual property rights, the publisher, not Apple, handles the claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States embargo, and that you are not on any United States list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes
Each version of these terms is dated at the top of the page. The applicable version is the one published at this address.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Mauritanian law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Nouakchott, unless a mandatory legal provision states otherwise.
